2003 Kistler Vine Hill Chardonnay

Golden yellow. Minerals, stones and sunshine on the intriguing nose. The palate wavers between butter, mixed nuts ,pineapple, must, and orange rind. Then a long, smooth 60+ second finish. This wine is masculine, and drinks more like a red wine. Again Kistler proves to be one of my favorite producers. With crab cocktail and wedge salad from Capital Grille.

Grade: A
