2004 Kilikanoon Grenache Prodigal

Big, brawny and manly. Deep and dark. Concentrated aromas of charcoal, forest floor, blueberry pie and petrol give way to a concentrated flavor profile with gobs of chocolate, dark purple fruits and smooth tannins. Luscious, but somewhat one dimensional. This is not a wine that changes with every sip. Still, it is well made and tasty. With a steak and fries.
