2001 Roulot Meursault Les Luchets

Quintessential Meursault, and a work of art. Roulot has been discovered in the past year, which is unfortunately for collectors make these wines difficult to find but worth the effort.

This is a singular, detailed, complex, delicious captivating sunset sky across the palate. It is a pale golden, with aromas of musty peaches. Butterscotch, caramel, minerals, lemon rind, and a strong sense of place make up the palate. Long, clinging finish. Subtle, but strong. Incredible wine making here. This is a villages level wine!
