2001 Pride Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

This note is from June, 2008. Pure decadence. Lush smooth and unbelievably long. Like I am hang gliding. Dark chocolate. Harmony and passion. Really expansive palate with a tremendous multi minute finish. As long as anything I remember drinking. Nose of milk chocolate stewed plums menthol. Just amazing. Really perfect California cab. Work of art. Embedded on my palate like a tattoo. It has a wonderful sense of place despite all the fireworks. Will be fascinating to revisit with a few more years of bottle age. Retail $300, Grade: A+
