2005 Faiveley Nuits-St-Georges 1st Cru Les Petits St Georges
Dark ruby. Amazing pine and menthol aromas. Full bodied and brawny, its a mouth-full of dirty spicy cherry. Very earthy, and lots of substance. This is the most ready to drink of any of the 05 Faiveley's I've tried. I found this for $39 on release, and bought 6. Wish I had more. This is a great splurge bottle, under $100, for people that want to get to know red burgundy. Current retail $80, Grade: A.
