2006 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Clear velvet purple. Lovely aromas of cranberry, currents, and black cherry. Bright, spicy fruit palate. Some funky tree bark and root veggies. Nice, balanced finish. Well made, and tasty wine, yet it wouldn't stand out in a group of wines for $10-$20 less per bottle. Retail $50, grade: B+.
