2006 Mendel Unus

Deep luxurious purple. Captivating aromas of baked plums, warm earth, menthol and vanilla. Rich palate with dark chocolate, pretty berries and cherries, and a long, smooth finish. Delicious wine, with character and depth. I found this for about $30 in the Naples, Florida. Jill agrees, this is way in front of the wine we had last night. Grade: A.
