2001 Argiano Brunello de Montalcino

Pretty ruby. Closed at first. After 2 hours it is showing well. Sweet aromas of plums and tobacco box. Medium body and rustic, and a bit simple on the palate. Long, tannic finish. I bought a case from the Zachys flood sale, 3 years or so ago, for about $23 per bottle. Awesome deal. Current retail $60. Grade: B+ (Grade is an A at the price I paid)
