This is a second wine? Jill says end of summer fruits, blueberries bursting, falling off the branch. Fat raspberries and strawberries. Michael says this could pass for a first growth Bordeaux. We got this retail for $30. Great deal at that price, but sells for much more now. Grade A http://www.quilcedacreek.com/ www.whatwouldmikeydrink.com

2001 Mussella Valpolicella Superiore
I like an $8 wine? Hurray! Very well made, dark cherry and violets. Nice long tannic finish. With sausage and spinach gnocci. Can’t be beat for the price. Grade: A www.whatwouldmikeydrink.com
2004 Copain Syrah Madder Lake
Lovely velvet purple. Crushed berries, earth and slate soar from the glass. Classy and large scaled, but not very California. Pure and ripe. Yummy. If the tannis mellow it may merit an A- rating. With Bouchon Chicken. Grade: B+ www.whatwouldmikeydrink.com
