2007 Sequana Sarmento Vineyard Pinot Noir

Nice light pinot color. Some interesting (good) strange (not so good) smells. Something like wet wood bark with cherry powder. Pure, very nice fruit on the palate and a long, but slightly hot finish. Dark ruby. This is a beast. Animal, funky mossy and primal. Absolutely huge finish. Dramatic. Captures the essence of Mazis. There’s a green streak, like most of the 04 red burgundy I’ve tried.
