Utterly spellbinding. Opaque velvet. Fresh cut spring flowers, lavender, and Asian spice nose. Long plush singular palate with crushed black pepper, a decadent full powerful blend of red and black fruit. This is amazing. A plus.

Pale green tinged golden.    A most interesting, and deep nose.  Trent says brown butter.    I get lime, fresh cut grass,  minerals and saline, like the ocean on a windy day.    This was somewhat closed on the palate yesterday, but after being open a day it is screaming.  Lemon curd, raw oyster, seaweed, and salty briny [...]

Right bank 1982, rocking!  This has been open 24 hours and it is still outstanding.    Slight bricking on the edges but still a healthy ruby.  Very compelling aromas of plums, and cigar box.   Lots of cedar on the rich, velvet, new saddle leather palate.  Long, harmonious finish.    Amazing that this wine is almost 30 years [...]

This is the lowest priced Turley wine, at $20 direct from the vineyard. It is totally delicious. Inky purple. Candied figs, menthol and lots of alcohol make up the nose. This has shut down a bit since the last bottle I drank in 2009.  However after 2 hours it is quite nice.  Dark ruby.    Incredible dark aromas, with coffee, chocolate and forest.   Huge palate, with tons of depth but all wrapped up on itself.   Raspberries, plums, and very masculine.  Very clear fruit.  Tannic, but wonderfully [...]
