Photo on 2013-01-02 at 20.46Very dark ruby.  Amazing charred peppered rare beef aromas.  Full, dense and amazingly balanced palate full of charcoal, dark fruits, sap, clay, scorched earth, evergreen, pine, and tiny flowers.  Long, harmonious finish.   I opened this yesterday and was in the A territory, but it is even better today.  Not quite A+ but close.    14.1%.  Yes, I have been on a his Copain kick lately.  These are great wines.  So well made and full of character.     Grade: A.
