Pretty pale violet.    Great nebbiolo aromas of tar and fresh porcini.  Harmonic palate, with truffle infused cherry, baked earth, and lavender.   Very long finish.  Most barolos at this age are still too tannic, but this one is just singing.   Jill says welcome to the fall!  This is an amazing place, right now.    I paid $50 on release, on recommendation from my friend David Beckwith.   Not for sale anymore.  Grade: A.
